Inclusivity Consulting Group provides customized services to satisfy
the needs of our clients. As a result, what we do with clients is as different
as our clients themselves. While most of what we offer is engaging of the
whole person, we generally do not do traditional classroom style training.
Instead we utilize numerous forms of experiential learning combined with
process facilitation and create powerful learning opportunities that deeply
impact our participants.
We are more like artists than technicians as we work arm in arm with
our clients to create useful educational opportunities that bring out the
best in everyone.
Our services fall in any one or combination of the following three areas:
RELATIONSHIP DEVELOPMENT -- services which enhance interactions and motivate
individuals through short-term events. Examples include energizing, incentive/reward,
networking and team building one time events.
PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT -- training in skills and competencies that results
in improvement of personal, team and organizational effectiveness. Examples
include diversity awareness building sessions, communication skills training,
leadership coaching, performance management and conflict resolution.
CONSULTATION/INTERVENTION -- services that address change in and alignment
to values, mission, business purposes and the systems, structures and processes
which support them. Examples include diversity culture change initiative,
and long-range or strategic planning.
RELATIONSHIP DEVELOPMENT SERVICES
Team Development Programs
Inclusivity team development programs focus upon encouraging people to see
opportunities for optimum performance. These fun and engaging programs range
in length from half to all day. We custom design these events to combine
fun, relationship building and awareness raising.
Many of our current client's first Inclusivity experience was to contract
us to develop a team development program as a part of a longer planning
meeting. We conduct these events all over the world- indoors or out during
all seasons.
Meeting Energizers
You are ready with a full agenda, but now need to set the tone for a successful
meeting. Or you need to fill the gaps between multiple sessions to keep
their audience involved. Or you wish to relieve the after-lunch blues. We
suggest Inclusivity meeting engenizers - short, interactive, fun activities
to engage the group in positive, productive ways. They serve as beginnings,
transitions, and endings. They celebrate people and their successes. They
bring unforgettable closure to the meeting or the day. We customize meeting
energizers to match the tone of the meeting. You may choose icebreakers
to mix and engage people creatively, movers and shakers to raise energy
levels, team challenges to encourage problem-solving, celebrations to recognize
a person or a group, or closings to top off your session creatively. We'll
make sure each member of your group feels included and valued during these
sessions. Our purpose is to make your meeting more effective in reaching
its goal.
We work with people to build alliances with their colleagues, transcend
communication barriers and together create an environment which supports
creative thinking, with little fear of rejection. We believe that collaboration
enables goal setting and planning to be more effective. We work with isolated
or competing factions to gain their appreciation for each other's contributions,
increasing collective ownership in projects. The resulting productivity
gained ultimately enhances an organizations performance.
PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT SERVICES
Workplace Inclusion
Respecting issues of diversity and differences in work place experiences
have come to the fore in our society. Changing demographics in the work
force are bringing employees together who are increasingly diverse in their
ethnicity, gender, physical ability, age and lifestyle. This diversity sometimes
leads to an intense environment. Inclusivity works with you to speak to
these sensitive and important issues, creating an atmosphere which works
to embrace and support all members of an organization. We open the door
for seeing, understanding, and appreciating difference and assisting in
the development of mutual trust and respect. Personal and organizational
strategies are employed to promote improved communication and alliance building.
We work to help individuals recognize and address institutionalized classism,
racism, sexism, heterosexism as well as other "isms". As individuals
begin to unwind their own conditioning around the "isms", they
build pride and self-confidence, celebrating difference as a valued strength
and resource.
We can offer one time diversity awareness sessions for groups from 15
to 50 or multiple workshops that span a year or longer. These sessions range
in length from a half to three or more days. Like everything we do, each
program is custom designed to specifically met each client's needs.
Visionary Leadership
Inclusivity approaches the leadership challenge with a fresh eye. Leaders
learn to accept "learning" as a process, discovering how to facilitate
the unfolding process in their organizations, groups and work teams. In
this way, leaders learn to encourage the remarkable abilities of others:
opportunities are offered, rather than performances demanded. We focus our
leadership consultation on providing tools to leaders to inspire a shared
vision. Rather than concentrating on methods, we turn the examination inward,
enabling each individual to identify barriers within themselves that block
their ability to empower others. Inclusivity leadership consultations focus
upon how leaders can maximize individual contributions within each group's
unique dynamics. We encourage leaders to learn to encourage risk taking,
support innovation and advocate others to learn. It is in this way they
are able to set direction for a shared vision and align others in support
and attainment of that vision.
Meeting Facilitation
Inclusivity works with our clients to clarify what they wish to accomplish
- to accelerate personal and organizational communication and understanding,
to create a common vision and core values for their organizations, to develop
a set of operating principles, to launch a planning process, or to achieve
better company alignment. Working as partners with executives, managers,
and meeting planners, Inclusivity helps our clients define and produce the
outcomes desired from training sessions, meetings, and retreats. Our goal
is making sure our efforts together translate into real accomplishment in
the workplace.
We customize meeting programs in harmony with the culture and meeting
objectives of our clients. Indoor and outdoor settings add flexibility and
interest. We work together to achieve our clients' goals. Facilitation can
range from a half day session for a management team of 5 to a multi-day
event with 100 or more participants.
CONSULTATION/INTERVENTION SERVICES
We work to understand your needs and the issues that challenging you and
your employees. Our strength is our ability to listen to understand while
partnering with you to design and facilitate a process to reach your desired
goals and outcomes:
- Coaching on a one-to-one basis with executives and managers
- Teaming with leadership groups for extended periods
- Designing and facilitating institutional change processes
- Assisting in the development of mentoring programs
We work with clients over the long haul. Our small size means we will
be with you every step of the way, utilizing other skilled consultants as

OTHER SERVICES
White Men as Full Diversity Partners
Inclusivity offers workshops and seminars for individuals wishing to explore
a subject more deeply for personal and professional growth and development.
These programs are not intended for individuals who need "to be fixed"
nor for individuals seeking the a prescribed solution or the latest answer
an organizational problem. In 2000, we are offering two sessions for white
men only to focus on their role in ending all forms of oppression and two
sessions, White Men and Allies to look at the process of re-energizing many
white men about diversity change initiatives.

Outdoor Experiential Adventures
On occasion when the needs of our clients warrant, we utilize outdoor experiential
tools to heighten and accelerate the learning. Inclusivity owns and operates
a start of the art challenge course at the Flying L Ranch. Built by Inclusivity
in 1995, this course is used exclusively by intact work teams and management
groups for the purpose of heightening understanding about the powerful ways
collective groups of people can achieve unheralded things together.
We also utilize on occasion offer rock climbing, white water rafting
and other types of adventure activities if , in our assessment, it will
aid our client in achieving their desired outcomes. We do not use adventure
activities for the thrill of it or to provide recreational outings.
